In Saturday's non-league game, the host Childress Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 7-5 victory over the Clarendon Broncos.
The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Shallowater (Shallowater, TX). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region I District 2 game with a 6-5 record.
The Broncos (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Friona (Friona, TX). The Chieftans go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
