The Decatur Red Raiders crushed the visiting Danville Hawks baseball team by a count of 13-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Red Raiders now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Lawrence for a non-league game on Saturday, March 2. Decatur will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
The Hawks (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Falkville (Falkville, AL). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Falkville was overwhelmed by Hanceville (Hanceville, AL), 13-3, in a non-league game.
