The West Monroe Rebels got by the visiting Destrehan Wildcats baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hahnville for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 2. West Monroe will face a Tigers team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.
