The Glenn Bobcats baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Wheatmore Warriors to 0 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans go into the Central Piedmont 4A match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Mount Tabor was overwhelmed by Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC), 14-2, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Trinity ran past Asheboro (Asheboro, NC), 9-7, in a non-league match.
