Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Yulee Hornets (Yulee, FL) and the host Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), saw Yulee's baseball squad edge Metter by a margin of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Hornets play the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 2. Yulee will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, GA).

The Tigers now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emanuel County Institute for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 5. Metter will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.
