St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), 13-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Andrew's Episcopal upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Saints host Pisgah (Sandhill, MS) to battle the Dragons in a 2A Region 6 test on Tuesday, March 5. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 4-4. Pisgah won 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS)
With the defeat, Pearl falls to 1-6 on the season. The Pirates travel to Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 4-4.
