San Marcos Academy Bears (San Marcos, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Valor South Austin Falcons (Austin, TX), 8-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, San Marcos Academy upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bears travel to St. Paul (Shiner, TX) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 1-1. St. Paul won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX)

With the defeat, Valor South Austin falls to 2-3 on the season. The Falcons host Veritas Academy (Austin, TX) to battle the in a non-league test on Friday, March 8. The come into the test with a record of 1-2. Veritas Academy lost 14-0 in their recent non-league match against Bracken Christian (Bulverde, TX)
