Ohio High School Basketball - Avon Lake overwhelmed by Hoover

The Hoover Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Avon Lake Shoremen to 33 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brecksville-Broadview Heights for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 6. Hoover will battle a Bees team coming off a 52-40 non-league win over Highland (Medina, OH). The Bees record now stands at 19-4.
