In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Windward Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Grant Lancers.
The Wildcats (10-0) will now prepare for their battle against Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Eagle Rock achieved victory over St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lancers clash with the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a East Valley battle, on Monday, March 4. Grant will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Vaughn (San Fernando, CA).
