Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mechanicville Red Raiders (Mechanicville, NY), 59-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Albany Academy for Girls upgrades its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Saranac (Saranac, NY) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 6. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 19-3. Saranac won 39-36 in their recent non-league bout against Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY)
