Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT), 4-1 in a non-league match.
The Penguins (29-3) will now prepare for their match against Kimball Union Academy (Meriden, NH). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 31-5 record. In their last match, Kimball Union Academy tipped Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT), 4-3, in a non-league match.
