Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Saginaw for a 5A Region I District 5 challenge on Monday, March 11.

With the loss, Horn falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars host North Forney (Forney, TX) to face the Falcons in a 6A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 12-6. North Forney lost 8-5 in their recent non-league contest against Celina (Celina, TX)
