Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Longview for a 5A Region II District 15 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Whitehouse will face a Lobos squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Malakoff (Malakoff, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Arlington falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Colts host Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to face the Gophers in a 6A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Gophers enter the challenge with a record of 4-6.
