Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Greenway Demons (Phoenix, AZ), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Westlake for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Aztec will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Greenway falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Crescenta Valley lost 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
