South Carolina High School Softball - Bridges Prep nudges Calhoun County

Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holly Hill Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2.

With the loss, Calhoun County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC) to battle the War Eagles in a A Region 4 challenge on Monday, March 4. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
