Weiss Wolves (Pflugerville, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX), 17-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now sport a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they host Harker Heights for a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Weiss will face a Knights squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Knights record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Cedar Park falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Lockhart (Lockhart, TX) to face the Lions in a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, March 8. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 7-12.
