Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cibola for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9.
With the loss, Cleveland falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Organ Mountain lost 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Belen (Belen, NM)
