Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Centennial Titans (Frisco, TX), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Van Alstyne for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2.

With the loss, Centennial falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Titans host Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 5A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 18-2. Walnut Grove won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Guyer (Denton, TX)
