The Llano Yellowjackets softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Coleman Bluecats to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Llano improves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 5. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 3-10. Nixon-Smiley lost 10-6 in their recent non-league game against Edgewood (Edgewood, TX)

In their next game, the Bluecats clash with the Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX) in a 2A Region I District 6 game, on Tuesday, March 26. Coleman will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
