The College Park Cavaliers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles to 4 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, College Park improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 6A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, March 5. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 9-10. Caney Creek lost 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Ingleside (Ingleside, TX)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 game, on Tuesday, March 12. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record.
