Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Dripping Springs will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Lockhart (Lockhart, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Conroe falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX) to battle the War Eagles in a 6A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 13-1.
