Texas High School Softball - Coppell bounces Quitman

March 2, 2024: Quitman, TX 75783

Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX), 16-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Cowboys now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prairiland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Coppell will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Quitman falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Harmony (Big Sandy, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, March 22. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-7.
