The Dumas Demons softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Hanks Knights to 8 in the Demons non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Dumas moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Demons host Randall (Amarillo, TX) to play the Raiders in a 4A Region I District 4 game on Thursday, March 14. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 11-12.
In their next game, the Knights play the Eastlake Falcons (El Paso, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 2. Hanks will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 8-9 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Levelland (Levelland, TX).
