Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Levelland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Higley will face a Lobos squad coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, El Paso falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Horizon (El Paso, TX) to face the Scorpions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a record of 7-9. Horizon lost 13-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)
