Arizona High School Softball - Sunnyside can't get by El Toro

In Saturday's non-league contest, the El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) softball team held off the host Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 11-10.

With the triumph, El Toro moves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Chargers travel to La Habra (La Habra, CA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 2. The Highlanders come into the contest with a record of 5-4. La Habra lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Moorpark (Moorpark, CA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Catalina Foothills Falcons (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 5. Sunnyside will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ).
