Trinity Trojans (Euless, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chisholm Trail for a 6A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Trinity will battle a Rangers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Flower Mound falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX) to battle the Farmers in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Farmers enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Lewisville won 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Mansfield (Mansfield, TX)
