West Trojans (West, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prosper for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. West will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Highland Park falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Scots travel to Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Lake Highlands lost 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against John Paul II (Plano, TX)
