The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 8-10. Edinburg North lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Pieper (San Antonio, TX)

In their next game, the Patriots play the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 contest, on Tuesday, March 5. Mission Veterans Memorial will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Lobos come into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Spring Hill (Longview, TX).
