Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lake Hornets (Lake, MS), 13-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Enterprise for a 3A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, March 7.

With the loss, Lake falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5.
