The Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) softball routed the host Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX), 9-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (17-0) will now prepare for their bout against Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Zebras go into the non-league bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Grandview held off Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX), 5-2, in a non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lumberton for a 4A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, March 15.
