MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Fork Gators (Kingwood, TX), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Generals now sport a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they host Humble for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. MacArthur will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Orangefield (Orangefield, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-16.

With the loss, West Fork falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Klein Forest (Houston, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-13. Klein Forest lost 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Klein Collins (Spring, TX)
