The Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) softball the visiting Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL), 7-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tornadoes (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL). The Stampede go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Paul W. Bryant held off Holt (Holt, AL), 11-10, in a non-league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ramsay for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 2. Mae Jemison will confront a Rams squad coming off a 23-13 non-league win over Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL). The Rams record now stands at 5-3.
