New Mexico High School Softball - Valencia bounces Manzano

March 2, 2024: Los Lunas, NM 87031

The Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) softball routed the visiting Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Jaguars (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Rio Rancho was routed by Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

The Monarchs now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Cibola for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 5. Manzano will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 17-11 non-league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
