The Greyhounds now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pangburn for a 3A Region 6 bout on Monday, March 4. Newport will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 19-2 non-league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
