In Monday's non-league bout, the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC), by a tally of 14-2.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 3. Franklin will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.

With the defeat, Erwin drops to 0-2 on the year. The Warriors host Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 4.
