The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Horatio Lions (Horatio, AR) and the visiting Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR), saw Horatio's baseball team gain a win over Waldron by a tally of 6-2.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hope (Hope, AR). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Hope was overwhelmed by Taylor (Taylor, AR), 13-3, in a non-league contest.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paris for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 3. Waldron will face a Eagles team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Dover (Dover, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
