The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Davis Sr. Blue Devils (Davis, CA) and the host Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA), observed Davis Sr.'s softball team notch a victory over Franklin by a final score of 13-3.

The Blue Devils (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, McClatchy gained a win over Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA), 14-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Inderkum Tigers (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 4. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA).
