Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA), 10-7 in a non-league contest.

The Buccaneers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Marietta tipped Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA), 9-8, in a non-league game.

The Greyhounds now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Paulding for a non-league game on Thursday, March 5. Pope will play a Wolfpack team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 5-1.
