In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Millard West Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 11-7 victory over the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs go into the A District 1 game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Papillion-LaVista tipped Columbus (Columbus, NE), 5-4, in a non-league game.
The Silver Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Columbus (Columbus, NE). The Discoverers go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Columbus was overwhelmed by Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE), 5-4, in a non-league game.
