Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Palmerton gets by Jim Thorpe

March 20, 2023: Jim Thorpe, PA 18229

Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), 6-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Palmerton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Bombers host Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA) to battle the Crusaders in a Colonial test on Wednesday, March 22. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Jim Thorpe falls to 1-1 on the season. The Olympians travel to Dallas (Dallas, PA) to battle the Mountaineers in a non-league test on Friday, March 24. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Dallas won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA)
