New Mexico High School Baseball - Sandia loses to St. Pius X

In Monday's non-league game, the host St. Pius X Sartans baseball team scored a nice 14-4 victory over the Sandia Matadors.
The Sartans (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Valley was overwhelmed by Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 10-6, in a non-league game.
The Matadors (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Artesia was overwhelmed by Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 13-4, in a non-league game.
