The Edgewood Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Duarte Falcons to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garey for a Miramonte game on Wednesday, March 22. Edgewood will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league win over Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 13-2.
The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Kares enter the non-league game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Rio Hondo Prep defeated El Monte (El Monte, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
