The Liberty Lions baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Marana Tigers to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their match against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles go into the match with a 3-2 record.
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Canyon del Oro ran past Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ), 13-1, in a non-league match.
