South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA), 10-9 in a non-league battle.
The Lions now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aquinas Academy for a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Wednesday, March 22.
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) in a battle, on Wednesday, March 29. Peters Township will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Big Macs come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 13-4 non-league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA).
