In Monday's non-league test, the host Cardinal Newman Cardinals lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders.
The Cardinals now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sonoma Valley for a Vine Valley test on Thursday, March 23. Cardinal Newman will face a Dragons squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-0.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 29. Archbishop Riordan will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA).
