The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA), saw Monticello's lacrosse team top Tandem Friends by a margin of 17-2.
The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Hanover was overwhelmed by Freeman (Richmond, VA), 18-4, in a non-league match.
The Badgers (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Wakefield (The Plains, VA). The Fighting Owls go into the VISAA Division 3 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Wakefield was overwhelmed by Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 13-8, in a non-league match.
