The Western Panthers routed the visiting Eastern Comets softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN). The Argylls go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Comets now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southwood for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 21.
