The Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL) softball routed the host Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL), 21-3 in Monday's league bout.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Lake View (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Lake View was routed by Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL), 15-0, in a league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hancock for a Chicago Public Red bout on Thursday, March 23. Kennedy will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
