Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Magee Trojans (Magee, MS), 23-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Puckett for a 2A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. Mize will face a Wolves squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Collins (Collins, MS). The Wolves record now stands at 12-0.

With the loss, Magee falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to McLaurin (Florence, MS) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, March 23. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. McLaurin lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Raleigh (Raleigh, MS)
