In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Lexington Minutemen baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Dwight Trojans.
The Minutemen (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Prairie Central was edged by El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL), 15-6, in a non-league game.
